(HOOK) Haiti was once known as the pearl of the Caribbean, its soil was rich, not only could be cultivated but also full of gold and diamond. Today, Haiti is completely the opposite of what it used to be decades ago.  (Bridge) Haiti is one strong Island, the people are fighters, they fought for their own independence, and they will keep fighting until the government hear their cries and wipe their tears . Despite everything, the Haitian people always find their way back to rise up, gain strength, and continue to fight the same way they did 214 years to gain their independence.  Haiti is a country that has been through a lot for decades, natural disasters, epidemic, and many more. Despite everything, the Haitian people always find their way back to rise up, gain strength, and continue to fight the same way they did 214 years to gain their independence.  (THESIS) The Haitian population is almost entirely descended from African Slaves, they won their independence with France by

well! well! well! if I say researching, making a claim worksheet, Outline was easy for me, I would be lying. It was very tough for me, even though I knew the topic and what I wanted to talk about, it's just hard to put all of them together, I even change my focal points, but at the end I figured it all out and I felt like the burden has lifted off my tiny chest. From what I researched, it seems like the government of Haiti had borrowed $ 3 billion from Venezuela for infrastructures purposes and the money is gone missing. On October 17, 2018 the Haitians start protesting and want to know about the money. But do you why they are so mad for??? Well, the Haitians have to pay that money back to Venezuela with interest! and without forgetting the countless money they owe France after their independence on January 1, 1804 I hope I will have the outcome of that issue at the end of my research paper. The people of Haiti crying and asking for the money I have to look into more

We are living in a time where most young girls are after a great looking man, even though they know something is wrong about them: economically, socially or any other way, but in their mind, it is just the looks that matter. Well, Tétiyette had multiple marriage proposal by a goat who asked first and a pig the second one, she rejected both but here comes a great looking man and she is totally down for marriage, not too many days after they got married and later found out that, this man was the devil in person, but still went along with it and almost loose her entire life because of the man she desired. The purpose of this story is to teach us that, there are multiple attempts in life you can take them or reject them because it is a choice, but you must know that, sometimes what your heart desires is not always the right choice. 214 years ago, Haiti, once called Hispaniola, has gained its  Independence. The Haitian population is almost entirely descended from African Slaves, they won their independence with France by their sides in 1804, lead them to be the second country in the Americas, after the United States, to free itself from colonial rule. For decades, Haiti have been struggling with corruptions in the government, naturals disasters that hardly hit them and deforestation, which makes it difficult for them to move forward.  Haiti has beautiful beaches and the mountains are admirable, the people are welcoming. Tourism played a big part in the economy then, but now it starts to decrease.  The Haitian culture is quite amazing. Their main religious is VOODOO, but majority of the population are Christians (protestants). They love their traditions, traditions in Haiti is very respected like; they cook SOUP JOUMOU (pumpkin soup) every January 1st to honor their independence. Nothing is more beautif

In Central America, is located an Island called Haiti. Haiti the country where I was born and raised almost 20 years ago, then I moved to the U.S. about 5 years ago with my family of 5 (2 Sisters, 2 brothers and my mother). There are so many places back home, the beaches are beautiful, and the music are just amazing, and I cannot wait to go back to see, feel and enjoy it all over again. In the classroom, I am the quiet one who always sit in the back. I enjoy making conversations from time to time, but not much of a talker. My tiny world is all about music, and I love to sing. Listening to music is where I find my peace of mind as this world is moving. Well!!! let's have great semester together!
