Haiti was once known as the pearl of the Caribbean, its soil was rich, not only could be cultivated but also full of gold and diamond. Today, Haiti is completely the opposite of what it used to be decades ago.

Haiti is one strong Island, the people are fighters, they fought for their own independence, and they will keep fighting until the government hear their cries and wipe their tears. Despite everything, the Haitian people always find their way back to rise up, gain strength, and continue to fight the same way they did 214 years to gain their independence. Haiti is a country that has been through a lot for decades, natural disasters, epidemic, and many more. Despite everything, the Haitian people always find their way back to rise up, gain strength, and continue to fight the same way they did 214 years to gain their independence.

The Haitian population is almost entirely descended from African Slaves, they won their independence with France by their sides in 1804, lead them to be the second country in the Americas, after the United States, to free itself from colonial rule. Haiti is really suffering with; corruption in the government, unstoppable natural disasters and most importantly population overgrowth.
